Radiators are heat exchangers used to transfer thermal energy from one environment to another for cooling or heating purposes.
Radiators are heat exchangers used to transfer thermal energy from one environment to another for cooling or heating purposes. They are mostly produced from finned tubes in accordance with the process in order to increase the thermal conduction.
• Hot water,
• Superheated water,
• Sea water,
• Steam,
• High temperature oil,
• Nitrogen etc…
The material of the serpentine used can be full carbon steel, full stainless steel, and full copper, depending on the material of the fin, mirror and collector, and the radiator group can be classified as radiators with different materials.
Radiators, which are widely used in both industry and small businesses, are designed for many different purposes. Radiators designed and offered in different sizes are used in areas such as below;
• Dryers used in the textile industry,
• In space heating and hot water supply,
• Hot oil, steam and hot water systems,
• Geothermal facilities,
• Food drying systems,
• Chemical Plants,
• Air conditioning plants,
• Heating of factories and workshops,
• Industrial washing machines,
• Heat recovery systems,
• Chemical Plants,
• Automotive industry etc…
Thermodynamic calculations of radiators are made using professional programs. Mechanical calculations are made according to TEMA standard and 2104/68 / EU PED EN 13445 standard. The body and heater pipes are made of materials produced in accordance with EN 10216 and EN 10217 production standards. While the mirrors, covers and curtains of the radiators are produced from materials produced in accordance with EN 10025 and EN10028 standards, materials produced according to the fluid and pressure class with EN 1092 production standard are used in the production of the flanges.
